Originally founded in 1967 under the name of International Marketing Corporation and was later known as Imcopipes. Today the brand trades from the United Kingdom, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates as Imcopipes and Imco trading group ltd.

IMCO strive to maintain the high standards and values for which we have gained an excellent reputation. Over th e past 50 years, the company has manufactured pipes, fittings, valves and related products to many notable projects throughout Africa, Europe and West Asia. Our core product range is Ductile Iron pipes, fittings & valves although the company manufactured, supplies and trades in a wide range of products and commodities through its subsidiaries. In recent years we expanded into oilfield work, solar power/electrical and mechanical equipment for both water and oilfield projects. This includes full water treatment or waste water treatment plants. Whilst providing this extensive range of products our core business remains Ductile iron pipes, fittings and valves.

With over 5 decades of practice in the distribution of products, for water distribution, sewage treatment and fire protection, IMCO are professionals with a wealth of experience. We have a proven commitment to the highest standards, alongside the ability to offer a wide product range to cater to the needs of our clientele. All products supplied by Imco International are manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment in modern facilities. PIPES, FITTINGS & ACCESSORIES

IMCO is a major distributor of Ductile Iron and PE/PP/PVC pipes, fittings and related products. From major transmission lines to house connections, we have a solution for you.

In addition to our standard product range, bespoke, unique products can be fabricated according to the clients specification.

All pipes and fittings are manufactured to international standards by Imco International Ltd approved factories and are tested to meet international standards and client's specific requirements. We also supply all related accessories such as bolt sets, gaskets and rings.

VALVES, FIRE HYDRANTS & PENSTOCKS

We supply a wide range of valves from PE DN25mm ball valves up to DN3000mm Ductile Iron butterfly valves.

Made to order Penstocks along with quality fire hydrants, manhole covers and many other related products ensure we can offer a one-stop-shop solution for our clients.

All products meet international standards and undergo vigorous testing. We also offer a warranty along with the option of an independent inspection, giving our clients extra peace of mind that products only of the best quality will be delivered.

WATER METERS & FLOW METERS

IMCO can offer both household water meters as well as advanced flow control meters of all types.

For domestic water meters we can offer dry dial, wet dial, digital, analogue, prepaid etc with many different and varying features dependant on the project requirements.

For water flow meters it is similar with ultrasonic, turbine, magnetic, flanged, clamp on and so on. We use a range of factories in Europe . All factories adhere to international standards and the products are tested and inspected before being dispatched.

PUMPS

IMCO can supply drainage, sewage, engine driven, potable water and industrial pumps to suit a wide variety of liquid handling applications. There are over 1000 pump models available from reputable manufacturers.

The pumps we offer range from having a 0.15kW to 1000kW motors. All the pumps we offer are selected based on their high-quality compositions, efficiency and reliability. To support our range of pumps, we have a wide range of readily available pump accessories and using our knowledge we can source the best selection of pumps to meet with your selection criteria, whether it be a single pump or large multi-disciplinary pumping system.

IMCO presented a gold trophy along with 22 gold medals to the 1979 winners of the Arabian Gulf Football Championship, Iraq.

Aloysius P James - Company Founder

1931 - 2019

In 1967, Mr Aloysius P James founded Imco International which later became known as Imcopipes. Originally from Sri Lanka our founder was educated as an accountant in London and worked briefly in the United Kingdom. He later sought to supply water pipes and cabling to African and Middle Eastern markets from the late 1960s onwards. Winning notable projects initially in Iraq and later Uganda, Ethiopia, Libya, Nigeria and other areas of the Middle East. Aloysius was fondly known by all as an eccentric leader of the company, a wonderful character who led a colourful life, making a wide variety of investments, including a gold mine in South Africa, a film studio in the UK as well as starting a bank in London in the 1970s. A humble philanthropist, together with his wife Trudy, Aloysius helped many people from all walks of life. This included financially supporting poor children and their families in Africa as well as rescuing many sick and injured animals over the years. However, throughout all this, he never forgot his roots with water projects and the company continued to thrive under his leadership until his passing in August 2019.

Imco International continues to follow Mr Aloysius's intentions and philosophies. He will always remain in our hearts and memories.
